Dies ist der Eckmann, den ich gebaut habe.
Und um Ihre Fragen zu beantworten:
hast du das Auspuff fertig? Ja, der Auspuff ist fertig. And in use.
I took the eckman as an example. ( the rectangular. ) What do you need. An original exhaust. You need the damper. The top. This is a different exhaust than on the pictures off moppel.
Maken no mistake Simonette, ist a lot off work to design and build an exhaust yourself. But its also a lot fun doing it yourself. Der eckman - > the rectangular. Is the first exhaust with which a saxo was performed. I made the exhaust dismountable. Basically, the exhaust is two-fold. divisible / consists of two parts. I did this so i can clean the exhaust if it is clogged. In wich i believe never wil happen. This compared to an original version.
The disadvantages:
The engine gets hotter than with an original exhaust. This is because the exhaust is not insulated. The heat from the exhaust is transferred directly to the engine. This means that not only the engine gets warmer. But also the lubricating oil or the differential. I am still looking for a suitable oil for this problem. By the way i am listening to this song while i am writing this. Hope you like it.
Eric Clapton - Tears In Heaven

Ps.
And let me put it this way, if your looking for a bit more umpffff. This is just / only one way walking down the road looking for it. My motivation contructing this exhaust was mainly that I drive a 199. Its orginel for this engine. And as with all original exhaust, they are always clogged. Now there are ways to unclog them. But I literally don't want to burn fingers on it. And i said to myzelf, why don,t you build your own exhaust. And this is wot i did.
Wish you the best luck in building an exhaust. And if you going to build 1, follow the thread wich i posted on top off this thread. I always say, a picture speaks a thousand words.

Its just a bit of drawing, a little contructie work and a little bit off welding. If you working in a metalshop, you can do this in 1 day. No worries m8ty. Only measure well.
ps 2
I have a feeling that my rubber diaphragm in the carburetor is failing. Its unbelievable that this little piece off rubber ( shit ) has such an impact on the performance of an engine.
