I actually don,t know if there is anything physically different between a Original 1 and a TT one.

Hi

well there ye go m8ty. The differance between both the airfilters,

Like dieter said, its all in the mixture off petrol and air to get the performance ye need / wont. And this means fiddeling arround with the engine.

I,ve been thinking if a bigger spark plug wire would help a bit............................ Don,t know yet. Have to try it out.

please do not use Pictures, which you havent shot yourself.
Without pictures, how will we know? My german is bad, am I supposed to do hand-signals? Besides, I'm sure the vendor does not mind free promotion O-) .

Yes, where do we get one? Do we modify the one in the photo from muemi tuning? [Sent you a PM]

Andruckplatte für Gasschieber

The same go,s for a float needle.I recon i have like 10 broken needles lying arround. All the tips are rotten beyond use. I just need to figure out how i can charpen them agian in a way so they stop the flow off petrol in to the float chamber. ( i don,t use a membrane in mine carbs ) So this part is very critical for me. If this part fails, mine engine won,t start. It wil drown in petrol
It is easy to resharpen them. PM me and then later maybe it can turn into a post.
And for the #9, ye can fab that, it's only a piece of plastic, yeah?

Thank you for the thorough explanation.

Hi M8ty

had a go with those carb needles. I turned to something far more powefull. Well anyway, had a go with all 10 off them. Dunno if i fixed them. But so far they look just fine. *DRINK* And i figured something out how to make them myself. Well, i must admit i wos lucky. Found something on the job :mcgreen: And tought, from this piece i am able to fabricate a carb needle. *IN LOVE*. So no more scratching / looking the net for carb needles. And i cant figure out why i didn,t think off this before.

Hallo Yoekio,

Hi Dieter K

I know when ye put them under a microscoop almost everything looks like a landscape with lots off rocks :mcgreen: But when ye use a ( wot we cal in dutch a "wet steen" ) I am certian ye very close to the Original.

And yeah, there are lots off things ye can do yourself. The problem in doing it yourself is in wot i call. When do ye see the light , lool. Sometimes it takes a while before ye figure it out in "how to do it ".

Like i said before, the fun lies for me in doing it yourself. And when all works out in the way i planned it to be. I am a happy man. And sometime when it doesn,t work out the way i planned it to be :*) I need to figure out a way / plan in wich it wil work in the way i wont it to be. :muahaha:

Ndrscons,

OK, now you have more air flowing through your carburetor. I had a thought. The "membranplat" or reed valve appears to restrict air flow. I took out the spring steel reed and replaced it with one I made from carbon fiber. It is lighter than steel so my theory is that it opens the valve sooner and closes the later. The longer duration allows for more air to enter the crankcase. More air = higher compression and more torque.

I can take pictures and show you how to make one if your are interested.
